The motivation for creating this pattern was my boyfriend's request to make him a custom skirt. In the end, instead of one custom piece, I decided to create a sewing pattern with detailed instructions so he could sew it himself. In the photo, my boyfriend (aka the best partner under the sun) is wearing a skirt that he sewed himself! And I'm super proud of how incredibly well he did it ❤

Woven, rather inelastic and less flowing materials are recommended, which will make the skirt more sculpted and hold its shape better (e.g. cotton or linen canvas, shirting, dress fabrics, etc.). 

I am a pattern designer and the founder of the toczna brand. I create original clothing patterns that are fun to sew and a joy to wear. 

I design my patterns and fully illustrated instructions to be appealing and easy to follow for both beginners and advanced sewers. Sewing is my lifelong passion, and I want to share that passion through my instructions and patterns.
