I really like old Czechoslovak magazines and books about fashion and pattern construction. Old magazines are full of great fashion drawings, which often capture the spirit of a garment better than any photo. Similarly, I like illustrated instructions from various old sewing manuals, which are often much more descriptive than many modern publications.
Clothes from the first half of the 20th century were full of interesting and thoughtful details that made otherwise very simple silhouettes special. All this and much more inspires me in my own work and motivates me to continue improving my pattern-drafting skills.
Small series like this are my way of setting aside a time every week to work on my skills.
